Cerec 3D
Dr. Rosen's practice is one of the very few in Manhattan who have invested in this new technology. Cerec 3D creates lab quality restorations at the dental office, saving the patient time and money. Cerec 3D can produce all of your non-metal crowns, inlays and onlays in just ONE visit. This means no more second visits, and no more temporaries that fall out or break at the most inopportune moments. Please contact Dr. Rosen if you would like to know more about the Cerec 3D. |

Shade Scan
How often have you had a crown or veneer made, that doesnt exactly match the shade of the rest of your teeth? Shade Scan, by Cynovad, helps to eliminate the worry that your new restoration will match the rest of your pearly whites. The Shade Scan is used by your lab, or in conjunction with the Cerec 3D to ensure you have the most natural looking restoration. This device is held up to your current tooth and measures and maps all of the tooth's shade information. The computer then creates a shade map, which is then used by Dr. Rosen or the lab to customize your restoration.

ZOOM Bleaching
Tooth Whitening has become a phenomenon in the United States recently. Over-the-Counter methods have popped up all over the place. These products contain bleaching material similar to what dentists use, however the in-office Zoom bleaching offered by Dr. Rosen, offers significantly higher concentrations of those materials. Zoom bleaching is one of the most popular in-office bleaching systems used today, and can be performed in about one hour. Dr. Rosen creates custom bleaching trays for each patient to be used with the bleaching gel. Contact Dr. Rosen for more information on this procedure.

Intra-Oral Camera
The intra-oral camera from Dentrix broadcasts images for both the patient and doctor to see. This gives the patient the ability to see a procedure before, during and after it is completed. This not only increases the dentist-patient communication, but can also aid in insurance claim reimbursement, by including color images along with traditional radiographs.

Soft-Tissue Laser
This carbon-dioxide, soft-tissue laser, is used in minor oral surgery. Dr. Rosen uses his soft-tissue laser to sculpt the gingival tissues during a smile makeover. This laser allows the dentist to make incisions without any bleeding, as the laser closes the blood vessels. Reduction of bacteria, faster healing, less discomfort, less post-operative scar tissue, and less likelihood of post-operative infection, make the soft-tissue laser the choice for Dr. Rosen. For additional information on the soft-tissue laser, please contact Dr. Rosen
